Studiolo

This bookwork provides detailed documentation of Fleming and Lapointe’s collaborative site works created for abandoned buildings in Montréal and New York City. It contains a docu-fiction by Fleming, and transcribed conversations between the artists and Montréal-based critic and curator Lesley Johnstone. A wide range of topics are considered in relation to the personal and discursive underpinnings of a practice informed by social theory, architectural archaeology, historical research and metaphysical investigation.
